Protection

I am very fond of dragons and I find it very hard to find the perfect dragon drawing or painting. Yours is close to perfect, I really loved it so much... it would have been perfect if I was able to see more of the dragons eye with some brightness in it. I like how this dragon has feathers instead of scales... it really shows that its too kind and caring on the young one. Also, the talons are not sharp looking, which really makes me feel warm and loved inside... if they were sharp (like how they are supposed to look like if dragons were real), they would have not delivered the message properly. I dont know you as an artist, but I think that you are trying to say that even the beasts in nature have time to care and love and not just attack and prey. And finally, great choice of warm colors.
