Description

So, ive decided to join Inktober this year :)
This means I am going to make one drawing in this sketchbook each day in October. Follow to see the rest of the upcoming drawings!

This is the second drawing for Inktober.
Here i was thinking of drawing something dedicated to the sea and our plastic pollution.
I am not very pleased with the resault, it didnt come out quite as I wanted.
First i had in mind that it would be more clear and visible plastic items inside her stomack that the birds was picking on. Now its all quite hidden. and its hard to read my idea that there is anything plastic there at all.
I had colored the toothpick green in the beak to the top seagull. But i removed the color in photoshop, since i want theese drawings to be all black and white x)
If i ever paint this again sometime, i will make the drawing better x) But i dont know,...
what do you think of the idea?
A mermaid laying dead on the beach, still beautiful since she recently died. She is tangled in fishnet and her stomack is open, full of plastic and is being eaten by animals.
Kinda grotesque, i know. But that what our plastic pollution is.

Use less plastic people!
